Students earn bikes

Tina Loving and Amy Cords of Storm Lake Middle School, along with Andrew Chindlund of St. Mary's, were the top three ticket sellers for the Knights of Columbus omelet breakfast which benefitted the DARE program in Storm Lake. In recognition of their efforts, McDonalds, Burger King and Chesterman's donated bikes. Chindlund received his bike at an earlier presentation, Loving and Cords received their bikes last week, presented by McDonald's manager Janet Dandeneau and officer Pete Erickson.

These three students along with 18 other top sellers from SLMS, St. Mary's and Concordia - Oscar Perez, Ashley Danielson, Sara Tews, Cassidy Granson, Kathy Chavez, Asuzena Bravo, Ashley Solem, Ahsaki Khaoorn, Kyla Heath, Kelsey Struck, Kristen Lenhart, Taylor Frieson, Bobby Ivey, Nate Lenhart, Katie Schultz, Alan Lenhart, Adam Ullerich and Nick Smith - will be treated to a Subway party.
