Jaycees have fundraising hopes 'in the bag'

The Greater Storm Lake Area Jaycees are once again working to raise funds for a local worthy cause. The group met Tuesday, April 4, to sort and package the garbage bags they will be selling for their upcoming fundraiser. Their project this spring will benefit Habitat for Humanity. The local Jaycees are conducting the garbage bag sales independently this year and are asking for the public's help to ensure success.

The bags being sold this year are durable 33-gallon black or clear bags. Anyone who wishes to purchase bags may come to Methodist Manor's Central Commons area on any one of four evenings-April 18, 20, 25 & 27-from 5-7 p.m. Donations are welcome as well and can be made out to Habitat for Humanity and mailed to: P.O. Box 875, Storm Lake, IA 50588.
