SLHS I-JAG students to attend career conference

Iowa JAG, Inc. will be hosting its second annual Career Development Conference on Thursday and Friday, April 5 and 6 at Camp Dodge in Johnston.

Students will participate in team building skills headed by members of Iowa National Guard and work-base competitions. The competitive events are scheduled to begin on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Twenty-four students from the Storm Lake I-JAG program will be participating.

Approximately 250 I-JAG students from across the state are expected to participate in the Career Development Conference. This conference is an effective motivational tool that allows Iowa JAG students to demonstrate their skills in work readiness and competency-based competitive events.
