Beginning Real Estate Investor Seminar will take place March 25

New investors and everyone thinking about getting into real estate investing are invited to take part in the Beginning Real Estate Investor Seminar to be held Saturday, March 25 from 12:30-5 p.m. at Iowa Central Community College, Storm Lake, in Room 10. Topics to be covered include basics in property analysis and comparisons, financial options, real estate terms, developing your team, renting/being a landlord, rehabilitating/remodeling and insurance.

Preregistration is recommended because class size is limited.

The preregistration cost is $50. If space is available, at-the-door registration will be $60. To register call Georgia Weaver at (712) 574-5426 or come by the Real Estate Specialists office at 106 W. Railroad St. in Storm Lake.

Each attendee will receive additional resources, links, spreadsheets, a handout and forms at the end of class. All attendees of Real Estate Investments 101 will be given a 10 percent discount and preference to a seat in the second Real Estate Investment class - REI - Rehabbing and Flipping 102 (Wholesaling): Finding the Right Properties and Rehabbing Start to SOLD!

Speakers will be Georgia Weaver, BS, GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) and Ronnie Weaver, BA.

Georgia is a professional licensed realtor who currently works with Real Estate Specialists, Inc., Storm Lake and owns Promise Team Real Estate. Together with her husband, Ronnie, they own Weaver Rental and Investments, Inc. and live in Alta. Both Georgia and Ronnie have experience designing, constructing and remodeling residential, commercial and agricultural properties in the Midwest and North Carolina.

As a realtor, Georgia has an excellent working knowledge of the local real estate market and together with Ronnie, they continue to develop financial savvy and wealth building tools.
