'American Dreams' explores voices of a nation

Tuesday, January 31, 2006

The Buena Vista University theatre department debuts it's winter production "American Dreams," tomorrow night, running nightly Feb. 1-4, at 8 p.m. in Anderson Auditorium on the BVU Campus.

The cast include Leah Marshall, Alta, playing Romona Bennett.

"American Dreams" creates an overview of the American Experience in our time through the voices of the people, in a seamless mosaic of monologues spoken by you and old, rich and poor, the hopeful and the cynical.

This drama was adapted by Peter Frosch from the best selling book "American Dreams Lost and Found" by Studs Terkel.

The production is open to the public, but only limited seating is available. Tickets may be purchased at the door at $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
