Cornwell, Frideres, Maher and Associates, P.C., CPAs have released an audit report on the Alta Community School District.
The district's revenues totaled $5,569,748 for the year ended June 30, 2005, a 10.3 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included $2,098,851 in local tax, charges for service of $415,764 operating grants, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $750,902, unrestricted interest of $5,894 and other general revenues of $2,298,337.
Expenses for district operation totaled $5,297,674, a 1.4 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $2,262,015 for regular instruction, $426,546 for operation and maintenance of plant services and $494,494 for administration services.
