Tuesday, March 27, 2001

The Siouxland All-American Band will be presenting a concert on Sunday, April 1, at 4 p.m. at Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus in Sioux City.

The band is comprised of 65 members and is under the direction of Mike Hogan.

Tickets are $5.00 per person for adults and all students are free. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door or at Mid America Air Museum at the Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City.

The concert performance will be dedicated to remembering the 50th anniversary of the Iowa 174th Air National Guard activation for the Korean Conflict.

This performance will serve as a fundraiser for the Mid America Museum. The money raised will be used for large directional signs along Interstate 29 and other major highways in Iowa promoting tourists to visit the Air Museum. Recently, the Siouxland Aviation Historical Association were given permission to place 150 square feet of signs along the Interstate and Iowa highways.
