The Storm Lake High School speech team was well represented at the state contest on Saturday in Carroll.
Out of 19 performances, 17 received an overall "I" rating.
Cami Bowers, Bobbi Meyer, Adam Thompson and Andrea Winchell all received I ratings at state in two events.

Storytelling: Liz Andrews, Corey Sievers. Freshmen: Bobbie Meyer, Heather Warner.
Radio News: Adam Thompson.
After Dinner: Andrea Winchell.
Prose Interpretation: Cami Bowers. Freshman: Collin Taphorn.
Poetry Interpretation: Sara Hawkins, Allen Hinkle, Jeannie Lullman. Freshman: Bobbie Meyer.
Acting: Cami Bowers, Natalie Gamache, Erin Taphorn.
Receiving a Division II rating at the state contest were:
Storytelling: Heather Koth. Freshman: Ryan Schultz.
Josh Olson was scheduled to compete at state in Radio News and Improv Acting, but due to illness was unable to perform.
