L. JaMae Bennett and Korey Lee Dau

, both of Sutherland, were united in marriage on June 18th, in an outside ceremony at the home of the groom's parents in Calumet. Pastor Fred Moore of Zion United Church of Christ, Calumet, officiated. A full reception followed at Donna's in Calumet.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce Bennett, of Rembrandt, and the late David Bennett. JaMae is employed as a Radiologic Technologist at Spencer Hospital, and as a Limited Radiology Instructor at Iowa Lakes Community College.

The groom is the son of Lloyd and Jan Dau, of Calumet. Korey is co-owner of Dau Construction where he works as a carpenter.

JaMae's maid of honor was Mandy Gibbons, of Rembrandt. Bridesmaids were Clara Thiesen, of Spencer, Molly Knudtson, of Peterson, Heather McIntyre, of Glendive, Montana, Deb Sayler, of Dickinson, N.D., and Rahna Janning, of Sioux City. The flower girl was Avery Koopmans, of Sioux Center.

Korey's best man was Michael Horstmann, of Sutherland. Groomsmen were Greg Sangwin, of Peterson, Jason Joines, of Sutherland, Kerry Dau, of Calumet, Matt Struve, of Des Moines, and Tim Wittrock, of Paullina. The ring bearer was Jackson Dau, of Calumet.

The couple spent their two-week honeymoon in Alaska, and they reside in rural Sutherland.
