Buena Vista University continues to add volunteers to its 2005-06 Community Campaign. Co-chairs Craig Crouch and Ben Dvergsten have recruited several community leaders to their team of volunteers.
Crouch has gathered Dan Berglund of Gold Key Mortgage, Dr. Randy Crampton, Tracee Dierenfield of MetaBank, Dan Gaffney of Vision Care Associates, Mike Rust of Rust's Western Shed, and Harry Schaller of Citizen's First National Bank.
Dvergsten's team consists of Stacey Eddie of Mills Financial Marketing & Advertising, Marty Gallagher of IowaPrepsToday.com, Tom James of Stille, Pierce & Pertzborn, Brad Jones of Jones Nursery & Garden Center, Mike Kohler of Sugar Bowl Gift Shop, and Tim Smith of Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home.
The campaign, which has a $115,000 goal this year, kicks off with a special Storm Lake Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours" reception on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m. in the Dows Conference Room of the Harold Walter Siebens Forum on the BVU campus. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
