New Midwest Wireless tower enhances cellular service

Back in March of 2000, Midwest Wireless acquired the 28-county Iowa network of CommNet Cellular.

Since that time, Midwest Wireless has worked diligently to upgrade wireless services in their new Iowa territory, embarking on a multi-million dollar network improvement project, which is bringing more than 11 new communication towers to northern Iowa.

As part of this project, Midwest Wireless recently activated a tower north of Sioux Rapids to enhance wireless service in that area and a large section of Highway 71 between Storm Lake and Spencer.

This tower and others like it in Iowa will enhance for those who subscribe to the company's wireless phone service - Cellular 2000 and Clearly Digital. These services are sold at authorized agent locations as well as Midwest Wireless company stores, like the one located in Storm Lake.
