Alta's spring play to hit the stage
Alta thespians preparing to take to the stage for spring play "Here Comes the Bride"
The Alta Community High School drama department will be presenting "Here Comes the Bride" on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 20 and 21, at the Roxy Theater in Iowa. Each performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Roxy Theater in Alta.
Tickets may be reserved beginning Monday, March 12 by calling 284-1331 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The price of the tickets are $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students and children.
"Here Comes the Bride" is a comedy where Jimmy Took (David Gregg) finds himself in immediate need of a wife to maintain his allowance from his wealthy uncle. The process he puts himself through to satisfy that need is sure to make you chuckle.
Other cast members include Megan Hesse - Aunt Ellen; Aaron Thompson - Bill Thompson; Jillian Carstensen - Madge Burns; Matt Koth - Mr. Oswald; Andy Whipkey - Uncle Dan; Diana Paup - Peg Westfield; Siera Bonnesen - Mrs. Smythe; Elizabeth Pedersen - Bubbles; Brian Anderson - J.D.; Sara Gregg - McDaniel; Samantha Quirk - Nurse; Tabatha Thompson - Nurse and Elizabeth Kennedy - Lady MacBeth.
The play is under the direction of Dave Curbow.
