May sings Ray in 'Boji

Classic singer Marilyn Maye will appear at The Inn in Okoboji August 7, 8 and 9 to perform a new tribute to the music of the late Ray Charles. "His music speaks to all people with songs of great joy and happy tears," said Maye, once called "the greatest white female singer in the world" by Ella Fitzgerald. Maye appeared a record 76 times on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show."

She is known for infusing humor and insight with her artistry. Tickets are available now for the 8:30 show each evening. Cost is $25, and seats are limited.
