"Peter Pan" recounts the adventures of the Darling family whose children fly away into the wonder of Neverland with the charming Peter Pan, the little boy who won't grow up. When Peter, dressed in his wonderful suit of green leaves, flies in their window searching for his lost shadow, the Darlings begin a great adventure. With a sprinkling of fairy dust to help them fly, they follow Peter to Neverland, where they encounter the most cunning and despicable of all pirates, Captain Hook, as well as a ticking crocodile, brave Indians and the enchanting fairy, Tinker Bell. Chris Carsten of Sioux City will play Captain Hook.
Scottish dramatist and novelist Sir James M. Barrie introduced Peter Pan to the world in his 1902 novel, "The Little White Bird." The story has been brought to life on Broadway and in films, delighting both children and adults for generations and it continues to capture the public's imagination. This timeless musical masterpiece suits the whole family - Peter will have the audience believing in magic all over again!
