Students at Concordia Lutheran School will be participating in the first ever creation of a time capsule to honor the fifth year anniversary of the school. The time capsule will be unveiled at Concordia Lutheran School's Annual Association Meeting on May 11 at 7 p.m.
Concordia Lutheran School teachers and students will begin selection of items that will be placed within the capsule during the first week in May. Each student will create an item to be placed in the capsule along with a Concordia Lutheran t-shirt and class picture from each grade level. The public is welcome to view the time capsule following the hour-long Annual Association Meeting.
Following the meeting, the time capsule will be sealed and placed behind the altar of Mueller Chapel in St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake.
The capsule will be reopened during the celebration of the tenth year anniversary of Concordia Lutheran School in the year 2010.
Concordia Lutheran School provides classes for kindergarten through sixth grade. Concordia is a separate not-for-profit corporation organized by individual members of area congregations and supported by active community members.
