SLHS wrestlers get confidence boost with win over SCW

Monday, February 14, 2005

Thanks to Wednesday night's 39-30 dual meet win over Sioux City West, the Storm Lake High wrestling team will go into next Saturday's district meet with some confidence.

According to SLHS wrestling coach Ty Seaman, the Tornadoes wrestled the best they have all season.

"This was a great way for us to finish our regular season," Seaman said. "We had a good crowd, we wrestled well and it was definitely a team effort.

"I think this was our best performance of the season and our kids wrestled good solid matches from top to bottom. I was real happy with the kids; they did what they needed to do to win."
