Tornadoes outduel Heelan

The Storm Lake High wrestling team had one of its best efforts of the season here Tuesday night, beating Sioux City Heelan 39-31 in a non-conference dual meet.

Storm Lake Ty Seaman was pleased with his team's performance.

"We had several really good matches and this was a good win for us," he said. "The kids wrestled hard and used good technique to score points.

"We got the pin when we had the chance and we avoided putting ourselves into trouble."
