The art room has been busy preparing art works for competitions and shows this past month.
Trimming art works, cutting mat board, mounting art works and scurrying around trying to decide on titles, has been a major undertaking.
"We've been busy here in the artroom," art teacher Linda Ducommun said. "There's always something going on in here. It's hard to keep the room cleaned up with everything going on."
Freshmen through seniors will be displaying their work at upcoming exhibits: Blanden Memorial Art Museum in Fort Dodge (Feb. 23 through March 25), University of South Dakota Student Display (March 10-30) and the Conference Art Show, Making Connections (March 19).
Students who participate in each exhibit will be announced later.
The Graphic Arts class finished the annual Business Identity Unit for a business in Kansas City this January.
"The business identity section of the class is one of my favorites," Ducummon said. "The students really have a good time with it and become very creative with their designs."
