For the first time, the Pilot-Tribune is inviting its readers to get into the act as we prepare to name the annual Citizen of the Year for the Storm Lake area. Do you know of someone who has done something special for the community - a hero, super-volunteer or inspiration to those around them?
Send a letter of nomination, and a photo if available, to Pilot-Tribune Citizen of the Year, in care of Dana Larsen, Pilot Publications, P.O. Box 1187, Storm Lake, 50588. Nominations may also be dropped off at the Pilot office at 111 W. 7th Street in Storm Lake, or may be e-mailed to dlarsen@stormlakepilot tribune.com
Include a brief description of the accomplishments that make your nominee special, and the name, address and phone number of the person making the nomination. The Pilot-Tribune Editorial board will be choosing an honoree to be featured in the New Year's edition. All nominations must be received by Dec. 12.
