Funeral Services for Naoma Fleming were held on Friday, October 29 at 1 p.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake, with Pastor Richard Bender of the Alta Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Barnes Township Cemetery at Linn Grove under the direction of the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
Naoma Fleming, age 79, of Storm Lake died Wednesday, October 27 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.
Naoma Florene Camp was born August 9, 1925, the daughter of Floyd Edwin and Anna Gertrude (Marthwig) Camp of Sergeant Bluff. She grew up in Sergeant Bluff and graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four sons: Floyd Patten of Storm Lake, Jerry Patten of Marshalltown, Steve Patten of Spencer, and Edwin Patten or Bremerton, Washington; one daughter, Sheryl Meyer of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Camp of Wheaton, Missouri; two sisters: Wanda Camp of Kansas City, Missouri and Floydeane Wagner of Fairmont, Minnesota; nieces, nephews, a host of friends, and one special little boy.
Memorials may be sent in Naoma's name to the American Heart Association.
