LETTER TO THE EDITOR - University's president on swan brutality

The fact that some of our students are allegedly involved is even more distressing. I join the other members of our community in expressing my heartfelt concern and pledging our continued cooperation with the responsible agencies in this investigation.

Insofar as any campus-based judicial action against these students is concerned, the confidentiality provisions of The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act protect the privacy rights of all students and prevent us from releasing this kind of information.
