Sioux Central will be hosting their annual "Parents Night Out" on Tuesday, October 26. "Parents' Night Out" is an opportunity for Pre-K thru 12th grade parents, adults and community members to spend an evening learning and sharing. Adults will be able to choose two sessions that they would like to attend during the evening. Sessions will include information on: Sioux Central NASA team, Nutrition, College Planning, PDAs: (Personal Digital Assistant) Hand held technology being used in 6th grade, and the Drug Demand Reduction Program. Chuck Matson from the Omaha Police Department will be sharing a presentation titled "The Ugliness of Drugs".
Registration begins at 6 p.m. During registration there will be opportunity to walk thru art displays, visit the "climbing wall" in the fitness center, and learn about Prevention Programs at Sioux Central. Sessions will be awarded to K-12 students who have parent(s) or an adult attend. Childcare will be provided by the Sioux Central National Honor Society. Questions?
