A poetic look at campaign trail

TO THE EDITOR:

On November 2 when I'm elected president

count on me in peace or war or when the money's spent.

I'll cut out all the taxes you pay to government

Balancing the budget by charging people rent

I'll accept donations - like on the campaign trail

I'm the greatest candidate - my ideals never fail.

In the pursuit of happiness - an AK-7 is alright

I'm for the people - buy the people,

it's here in black and white

We have walked the Lunar landscape

put robots on Mars. Drilled for oil six miles deep

for our Hummers and our cars.

Our national debt's in trillions. The press won't let me lie I approve this message - vote for me cause I'm your guy -

A crafty fundraising success

TO THE EDITOR:

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make St. Mary's Craft Bazaar a great success. It takes a lot of hard work and a lot of community support as well. Thanks to all of the crafters who participated and to all the volunteers who put their time in. It is a great fundraiser for our Parish each year so thank you!
