BVU campus has fall visits

Monday, October 18, 2004

Buena Vista University will host several opportunities for prospective students to visit campus this fall, including three Fun Fridays and a Blue and Gold Game Day.

"A campus visit is the most effective way for high school students and their families to determine if our community is going to be the best place for them to pursue their higher education," says Julie Keehner, BVU's vice president for enrollment and student services.

During their visit to campus, students will have the opportunity to tour campus, listen to student panels, speak with faculty and staff about the academic and co-curricular programs and learn more about the scholarship and financial aid opportunities available to them.

Fun Fridays will be held at BVU on October 22, November 12 and November 19.

Blue and Gold Game Day will be held on Saturday, November 6 with registration beginning at 8:45 a.m. Families that visit on Blue and Gold Day will be provided with complimentary tickets to the BVU vs. Central College football game.

To register for any of these events or to schedule a personal campus visit, please contact the BVU Office of Admissions at 1-800-383-9600 or register online at
