Jason John Ehler, 23, of Holstein, was sentenced to prison on Wednesday in Sioux City by Judge Mark W. Bennett, Chief United States District Court Judge.
Ehler received a prison term of 227 months, after previously entering a plea of guilty to the charge of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
At the plea hearing, Ehler admitted that during the course of the conspiracy, he and others jointly participated in the distribution of over 10 pounds of methamphetamine between the summer of 1997 through January 1998.
Ehler is currently serving a prison term relating to a 1998 kidnaping case. The Tri-State Drug Task Force investigated.
