Outstanding two-dimensional art works by Storm Lake public school students are now on display at the Winter Central Art Show.
Elementary student works include marker designs by first graders Tyler Kopfmann and Bryon Xayadeth; construction paper compositions by second graders K.J. Besch and Josie Chong; oil pastels by third graders Hope Baker and Jamie Cords and oil pastels by fourth graders Jake Besch, Nicole Heath, Pagy Phosy and Katy Shevel.
Storm Lake Middle School art works in the show are watercolor and crayon landscapes by fifth grade students Adriana Garcia and Alejandro Rodriguez; a watercolor ad oil pastel by six grader Donna Thephavong; vinyl designs by seventh graders Lauren Judas and Cory Miller and pencil portraits by eighth graders Alina Boulommavong and Abby Diehl.
Storm Lake High School student works include photographs by junior Sara Chicas and seniors Vinny Khamtaph and Mike Richey; pastel self portraits by juniors Veronica Arambula and Martha Ramirez and senior Joel Anderson; an oil pastel by junior Leah Hoffard and a computer graphic design by junior Toni Khounlo.
The Winter Central Art Show can be viewed by the public during regular business hours at the Central Administration Building at 419 Lake Avenue in Storm Lake. These works will be on display through March.
