LETTER TO THE EDITOR - Let swan killer punishment fit the crime

I feel that these "so called" BVU students, as well as others, are guests in our community and should act appropriately or be punished accordingly.

Making these boys pay a fine would probably punish their parents. I feel they should also spend the summer helping to restore wetlands and maybe, just maybe, they will realize how much work and hope that has gone into the restoration of the beautiful trumpeter swan program.
