Red Cross urges donors to give blood today at KC Hall

Giving blood now is especially important because snow storms, freezing temperatures and icy road conditions can make it difficult for some blood donors to reach bloodmobiles.

This fact of life makes it difficult sometimes for the American Red Cross to maintain an adequate blood supply for patients during the winter.

Winter weather may be unpredictable, but there is always a need for blood. Plan now to give blood today at the KC Hall from 1 to 7 p.m., when the American Red Cross Bloodmobile is in Storm Lake and help save someone's life in this season of need.
