ICCC students compete in automotive contest

Four Iowa Central Community College Storm Lake Center students competed in the written portion of the ninth annual Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Automotive Skills Contest recently held at the DMACC Ankeny Campus.

The students competed against more than 300 students representing 19 high schools from across Iowa, in the written portion of the contest held Dec. 15 on the DMACC Ankeny campus. The Storm Lake Center students are taught by instructors Joe Kramer and Jeremiah Rossman.

Six two-member teams of Iowa high school automotive students qualified for the hands-on portion of the Automotive Skills Contest by having the highest average scores on the written test.
