The U.S. 20 Association will discuss plans for the upcoming U.S. 20 Summit being planned for August 19 during their regular meeting this Friday, July 16, in Holstein. The meeting will be held at the Lohff-Schumann Community Center and begin at 10 a.m. The public is welcome.
Discussion of the Iowa DOT's announced policy shift from construction to maintenance emphasis is on the Association's agenda. Committee reports and strategy for presentations to the DOT Commission will also be heard.
The U.S. 20 Association is made up of representatives of business, industry, and government, economic developers, chamber officials, and interested citizens. It is the Association's mission to promote the completion of U.S. 20, The Midwest Connector, as a 4-lane across the state of Iowa.
