The prevention education specialists of Northwest Iowa Alcoholism and Drug Treatment Unit, Inc. are active in your community. They offer early intervention education courses. The information is tailored to adolescent and adult audiences. The research-based curriculum is designed to reduce the risk for alcohol and drug-related problems. The curriculum can also be taught in the workplace.

Our prevention education

specialists present a variety of lectures on tobacco, substance abuse, chemical dependency and related topics. Our staff also provides information and assists with business and school policy development.

Northwest Iowa Alcoholism and Drug Treatment Unit, Inc. treatment services assist individuals and their families in coping with and resolving alcohol and drug-related impairment problems. Our certified counselors provide substance abuse evaluations in a caring and confidential setting. An individual's chemical use history, in addition to their support network and their risk for continued use of chemicals, are considered in making a recommendation for treatment. Northwest Iowa Alcoholism and Drug Treatment Unit, Inc. provides individual, family and group therapy.
