Sac City upsets No.18 Wildcat girls

SAC CITY - Jamie Toliver scored a career-high 29 points, including three 3-pointers, to help Sac City pull off a 50-45 upset win over 18th-ranked Schaller-Crestland in Northwest Conference action last Friday night at Sac City.

Schaller-Crestland held a 9-8 lead after the first quarter. Sac City led 28-23 at halftime and 35-33 after three periods of play.

Jessi Bellcock scored 16 points to lead the Wildcats, now 6-2 overall. Sarah King netted 12 and Lynn Franzkowiak and Angie Willer six apiece.

King grabbed six rebounds, while Jenna Malcom added five and Bellcock four.

Willer finished with three assists, Franzkowiak two steals and Malcom two blocks for Schaller-Crestland.

The Wildcats play host to St. Mary's tonight.
