Tyler Turnquist

May 28 - June 1, 2004

Services for Tyler Jonathan Turnquist, four days old, were held Friday, June 4 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alta with Pastor Mark Abraham officiating. Burial was in the Scandinavian Cemetery in Alta.

Tyler Jonathan Turnquist was born on May 28 to Jon and Carrie (Sieger) Turnquist in Storm Lake.

Tyler was a precious little boy who was loved by his family and friends. He especially loved getting hugs and kisses from his big sister, Brittany, and his parents.

Tyler also had a fond affection for his grandparents and six girl cousins.

Tyler came home on May 30 and enjoyed two nights on the farm.

On June 1, Tyler had complications with his breathing. He was then rushed to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake for further examinations. As time passed, Tyler's condition was weakening; therefore, he was baptized shortly before he passed on to join our heavenly father.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Jon and Carrie Turnquist of Alta; his sister, Brittany Turnquist of Alta; his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Kathy Sieger of Sloan; his great grandparents, Bob and Shirley Hummel of Sloan and Lucille Sieger of Sloan; his aunts and uncles, Steve and Eileen Turnquist of Alta, Dave and Laura Turnquist of Alta, Melody and Brad Steed of Sunland, California, Chad Sieger of Omaha, Nebraska, and Laura Sieger and her fiance A.J. Rieder of Sloan; his cousins, Ariel, Alyssa, Ali and Alicia Turnquist and Lesa and Katie Turnquist.
