Nursing scholarships to 3 area students

The Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Nursing Scholarship committee has awarded $1000 scholarships to each of three nursing students for the 2004-2005 academic year.

The recipients are Melissa Temple, Newell; Brooke Perry, Aurelia; and Sally Bonnesen, also from Aurelia. Bonnesen received the Jenny Perry Memorial scholarship.

This is the second year that scholarships have been awarded by the BVRMC scholarship committee. These recipients were selected from many applications submitted by highly qualified students.

The committee's goal is to assist deserving nursing students from the area to advance the nursing profession.
