The 2004 Spencer Airshow June 13 is free to the public, starting at 10:30 a.m. The performers include the "Big Red" Stearman flown by Susan Dacy of Harvard, Ill.; Steve Falon of Sioux Falls, SD in his Pitts Special; Dan Sullivan from Anoka County Airport in Minneapolis and Paul Wood of Waukegan Airport in Chicago, flying in their impressive L39's performing formation and aerobatic maneuvers, and the Paradise Skydiving team from Vinton, opening the show with a jump displaying our National Flag. This team will also be offering tandem jumps all day Saturday and after the event on Sunday morning. A Pancake Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. until noon. The Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles program is offering free rides to kids the ages of 8 to 17 with parental or guardian permission by local aircraft owners to inspire aviation to children.
