The need for a wireless network arises from the fact that the district receives its Internet access through the ICN. However, the ICN is only installed to the high school in any district.
In order to get Internet access from the Newell site to Fonda, an antenna system is in place that emits the signal. That though has been a problem.
"It hasn't been very reliable in Fonda," Boerner said. "Sometimes the signals are strong enough to take, sometimes it isn't."
