RC Fun Fly takes off at Storm Lake

* The Northwest Iowa Radio Control Club members will be hosting an RC airplane and helicopter Fun Fly at the Storm Lake Airport, 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 22 (weather permitting). Martial Arts classes: Forever Green

* Chi Kung, the most ancient of martial arts, has been designed around 18 soft and gentle flexing and stretching movements that are done in silence and create a meditation in motion. Jo Bachman, who has been a Chi Kung practitioner for 20 years, will be offering "Chi-Kung" Staying Forever Green" on 12 Tuesdays beginning February 10th from 8-9 a.m. at the Methodist Church Family Life Center. A registration fee of $40 needs to be paid to CommUNITY Education, 419 Lake Avenue by Friday, February 6.

Tonic Sol-fa in concert February 19

* One of the most popular performing groups in the area will return for a concert at Pocahontas High School on Thursday, February 19, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tonic Sol-fa is a popular "a cappella" singing male quartet from the Minneapolis area. They tour the country playing at many college campuses, and have released several CDs. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for K-12 students. Tickets are available at Pocahontas Area High School (712-335-4848). General Admission seating will be available with tickets at the door while they last. Doors open at 6:45.
