Mr. and Mrs. Scott Gibbins
Stephannie Marie Werner and Scott Robert Gibbins were united in marriage on June 14, 2003 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Schaller, with Pastor Albert Buelow officiating. The reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Storm Lake.
Parents of the couple are Wayne and Karen Werner of Schaller and Marion and Sue Gibbins of Storm Lake. Grandparents are Howard and Betty Mentzer of Nemaha, Eugene and Wilma Werner of Early, Elsie Marie Werner, Bob and Marilyn Demers and Julia Adams all of Storm Lake.
The bride wore a strapless a-line satin gown in ivory. It was embellished with beaded embroidery on the chapel length train as well as on the front bust area and skirt. She carried an arm bouquet of ivory calla lilies accented with greens and tree fern and decorated with a beautiful ivory satin bow and streamers.
Maid of Honor was Rebecca Kropf, friend of the bride. Brides maids were Jamie Loggins, Patricia Watters, and Stacey DeBoer, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Tonya Amway, cousin of the groom. Her personal attendant was Jorja Buchholz, friend of the couple.
Best Man was Brad Gibbins, brother of the groom. Grooms-men were Adam Jelinek, Nick Mesenbrink and Matt Harrington, all friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Joshua Demers, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Schaller-Crestland High School and a 1999 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and works for Paint the Town Graphics in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of St. Mary's High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Iowa with a BS in Sports, Health, Leisure, and Physical Studies. He currently works for the Boy Scouts of America as a district executive in the Anthony Wayne Area Council in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
After a cruise in the Caribbean they are at home in Huntington, Indiana.
