FORT DODGE - Three people, including two teenagers, were arrested after gunshots were fired at a school building here.
The two teens, ages 15 and 14, were charged with second-degree criminal mischief, reckless use of a firearm and discharging a firearm within the city limits.
Bobby Alan Fredericksen, 39, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
No one was injured when someone fired shots at the Arey Education Center Friday morning, school officials said.
The center is the school district's administration building.
The shots appeared to come from off campus. Bullets struck a storage building and a car that was parked next to it.
The investigation led police to search a home, where they seized two rifles and two shotguns, Police Chief Tom Francis said.
The two teenagers, whose names weren't released, were not students in the Fort Dodge school district, Francis said.
The teenagers were turned over to juvenile authorities.
