The Buena Vista County Board of Supervisors signed a resolution at Tuesday's board meeting acknowledging ISU Extension in Buena Vista County for improving the quality of life in rural Iowa over the past 100 years. Rhonda Christensen, County Extension Education Director, Council Chair Dawn Prosser and Council Representative Shelley Hohneke invited the board members and residents of the county to the November 19th "come and go open house" in recognition of the 100 years of Extension. The open house will be held in the AEA building and begins with a Chamber of Commerce Coffee at 10 a.m. with refreshments being served throughout the day until 5:30 p.m. Those attending the open house will have a chance to win one of two footballs autographed by ISU Coach Dan McCarney and several of the ISU football players.
