If you've been putting off that photo album project "until you find the time," there is no time like the present! Creating a wonderful family heirloom does not have to be a difficult or time consuming task. By doing simple pages, your album projects will become completed.
Instructor Jane McClinton will be offering a photo album workshop on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at South cafeteria. Registration fees are $10 for new enrollees plus $2.50 for materials and $5 for continuing enrollees.
At the workshop you will learn how to turn your boxes of photos and memorabilia into family keepsakes. New enrollees will meet with the instructor for the first hour and will be taught photo organization, preservation and creative scrap booking.
Following the instruction period, the instructor will help you put together a page to start your album. She will provide all of the supplies to do the first page. You are asked to bring along a few groups of pictures such as vacations, birthday parties, weddings or Christmas. Former enrollees may attend any part or all of the class. You are welcome to come and go according to your schedule. There will be plenty of room for everyone to spread out their albums on the table.
The registration deadline is Nov. 2 and may be done with Community Education.
