Scholastic Book Fair scheduled for next week (Local News ~ 10/23/14)
The Alta-Aurelia Community School District will be holding a Scholastic Book Fair October 27 to October 31 at the library in Alta. School librarian Julie Langer said that the book fair has been going on in Alta for at least 20 years. This year, the library will also be holding a coin challenge through an effort called All for Books from Scholastic, Inc. Every cent that is collected will help build and refresh classroom libraries with new books that students want to read... -
