Massive pipeline may come through SL (Local News ~ 07/11/14)
Plans emerged this week for a Texas company to run an oil pipeline through Buena Vista County, part of a massive project to carry light sweet crude from booming oil fields in North Dakota to Illinois. Although the potential path of the project runs through the Storm Lake area, both city and county officials were caught by surprise as news broke.
