Since their soldier son's death by suicide in 2012, Lisa and Jeff Nastlund have been waging their own war - in hopes of preventing others from having to endure pain and tragedy as an aftermath of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. After 10 years of fortunate weather, the Storm Lake Memorial Day ceremony was forced to move inside for the second year in a row. A modest crowd still enjoyed rousing music by the high school band and the performing group A Touch of Broadway, the placement of wreaths and the 21-gun Salute to the Dead, as the stalwarts of AMVETS Post #66 simply stepped out the back door of the school gym and fired off a salute in perfect unison... -
