Supervisors approve support for Skilled Iowa Test

Joanne Fallen with the Iowa Lakes Corridor approached the county supervisors to ask them to be supporters of the Skilled Iowa Tests. While most supervisors were on board, Chairman Paul Merten was skeptical. The test would not be mandatory, but would be a test that would allow individuals to showcase what skills they do have in addition to showing areas for improvement. After weaknesses are identified the workforce office would be there to support the individual and work on those problem areas...
