LAURENS - A week after falling 7th-ranked and unbeaten Newell-Fonda, the Laurens-Marathon football team rebounded in a big way Friday night, taking down 8th-ranked and previously undefeated Kingsley-Pierson, 28-22. Both teams found yards hard to come by as K-P outgained the Chargers 336-283, but the Laurens-Marathon defense held when it mattered as they held the Panthers 30 points under their season average...
