Immanuel Lutheran Church to host 125th anniversary celebration (07/27/09)
On a cold day in February 1844, some like minded Swedish Lutherans banded together to form a new church. This group met in homes until they were able to construct a church building in Elk township where the current membership still meets. This congregation is Immanuel Lutheran.
