Siebrecht brothers earn top honors in wrestling (03/12/09)
The Siebrecht brothers pinned down first place standings in their divisions at the State Wrestling Tournaments. Cooper won the USA State Wrestling Tournament in the in the Intermediate Division, 55 lb. weight class on Saturday. The tournament was held in Cedar Falls in the Unidome. There were over 500 wrestlers from across the state competing in the tournament and 16 boys competing in Cooper's division...

In a painful effort to protect the unspent balance or authorized budget, the Alta School Board approved approximately $351,000 in budget reductions for next school year at its meeting Monday.
