With its inaugural event attracting over 200 participants, the Storm Lake Running Club has announced that a second "Jump Right in And Run" event will be held this Labor Day weekend. Quick action by the staff at a local grocery store has foiled an alleged counterfeiting scheme. Storm Lake Police were called to the Hy-Vee store Sunday afternoon, where two men had allegedly been trying to cash counterfeit checks.
