James Hildreth Oct. 7, 1926 - Oct. 25, 2008 James Hildreth, 82, Alta, formerly of Storm Lake, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at the Newell Good Samaritan Center in Newell. Funeral services for Mr. Hildreth were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Alta United Methodist Church. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake was in charge of the arrangements. Bankruptcy deal keeps local ethanol plant alive (11/06/08)
After filing for corporate bankruptcy in a Delaware court late Friday, VeraSun Energy officials say they now can continue to pay workers and churn out ethanol at their massive fuel plant at Albert City as well as its 15 other facilities.
